Input helper vs. data down actions up

Now that we have Data Down Actions Up, is there any need for the input helper?

Summary

  • Data down actions up is a great way to make components that are more flexible, but it comes with a cost: additional complexity
  • If you don't need that flexibility, don't pay that cost
  • The input helper can be thought of as sugar over a DDAU component for a common use case
